Yoga: breathe, feel, relax


Yoga is more than just movement and asanas (postures). Yoga is a mindful approach to life and a philosophical teaching that includes both physical and spiritual care. My yoga classes are about breathing consciously, becoming aware of yourself through movement, finding deep inner peace, and simultaneously recharging your batteries. We practice this with conscious breathing exercises, mindful asanas, and relaxation. Yoga is all about you, feeling yourself, and finding your center.

Those who start with a body that feels inflexible will notice changes much more quickly if they repeat the exercises regularly. And since yoga isn't just about asanas and there are other things that help you stay healthy and balanced, I recommend you try it out and take time for yourself.

How yoga can support you in your sport


Yoga is far more than just relaxation—it's a powerful tool that can take your athletic performance to a new level. Combining flexibility, mobility, strength, and breathing techniques, yoga creates the perfect foundation for any sport. The flowing movements improve your mobility and help release tension caused by one-sided strain.

Staying in the positions for longer engages the deeper connective tissue, fascia, ligaments, and joints. While muscles adapt quickly, connective tissue needs time to stretch and regenerate. Gentle but sustained pressure makes the tissue more supple and can loosen adhesions.

At the same time, you strengthen your core muscles and develop better body awareness, which leads to more precise movements. Breathing exercises are particularly valuable in yoga: They optimize your oxygen supply and help you stay focused even under pressure. Whether you're running, climbing, playing soccer, or dancing – yoga not only makes you physically more resistant to injury but also strengthens your mental stamina. This transforms your hobby or sport into a holistic experience in which body and mind work in harmony.
